BOOHOO DIY

PINAFORE: BOOHOO DIYJUMPER: PERSUNMALLTARTAN DR MARTENS: CHARITY SHOP

Finally, after a very long wait, I’ve decided to take some photos of my #BOOHOODIY. Every time I go home I keep forgetting to bring the jewels and glue back with me, so I still haven’t completed it, but I still think it looks kinda cool. I’ll explain what I did. The last photo is what it looked like to start with- a long grey t-shirt, and a few months ago I was really into playsuits and pinafores and so I thought ‘I know, I’ll make it into a pinafore!’ So I cut out the center, leaving the neck attached and four straps at the front and back. I also gathered it at the sides to stop it from being baggy and covered the gathers with a denim square on each side. I then wanted to inject some colour into it, so I took it outside and sprayed it with lots of purple and green spray paint from the £1 store. Finally I was going to attach the jewels along the straps but alas they are all the way back in Birmingham 🙁 So for now, it looks like a dipdye pinafore, hazar!
