PUMPKIN FARM: ESSINGTON FRUIT FARM
The other day I received an email from Topshop (Oh my god *explodes*) asking to do a Halloween collaboration!! I was sooo excited and spent about five hours choosing my perfect Halloween Topshop outfit! I really wanted to wear every Halloween colour apart from red, which worked out really well as I managed to find the purple shoes and the green top (and they're both velvet oh my god my favourite yay!) and although you probably can't see it, I have orange nail varnish on! Although I think the pumpkins pretty much makeup for the lack of orange in my outfit haha! I love that if I remove the Halloween transfer tattoos and the socks, I could wear this as a completely normal outfit, so I will definitely be wearing all of these items again in the very near future... tomorrow is very tempting indeed.
We organised a photoshoot at the wonderful Essington Fruit Farm in Wolverhampton where you can pick your own.. well.. pretty much everything. There was a huge list of tasty fruit and veg which you can pick normally, but unfortunately as its now not the right time of year for it most of the fruit isn't available anymore, but there are many many pumpkins right now as you can probably see and its well worth the visit because its such a fun day out and also because of the (extremely instagrammable) 99p cupcakes that are sold in the farm shop which also sells many other fabulous things which I wanted to buy, and that I also took photos of, instagram is going to be overrun with some very cute photos over the next few days. Also!! Over the half term weekend they're doing trailer rides up to the field where you can pick your own pumpkin! So um yeah, I just want to thank you Essington Farm for letting me take over your pumpkin patch for the day it was so much fun!! (and very cold, bring a sweater kids)
I decided to name this look after the Marilyn Manson song Prelude (The Family Trip) which was originally from the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the first half was written by Roald Dahl and it always reminds me of Halloween because of chocolate and sweeeeets!! Despite the fact that I'm pretty sure its set around Christmas? Oh well, in my brain Manson + Chocolate = Halloween.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM ME AND TOPSHOP!!
Love the outfit and the background is so cool with all the pumpkins! <3
