Yesterday I went to London Edge for the first time and it was amazing!! London Edge is a trade show for alternative brands, it was kind of like walking through Birmingham Oasis Market ten years ago, for any of you who have no idea what that is, its basically a huge goth/ emo/ alt store which has loads of different stores inside selling everything from studded belts and stripy fingerless gloves to tattoos and piercings, all whilst BFMV play loudly in the background. Of course I felt right at home, I have never wanted to go back to a time more than when being a total greebo was cool, I hate seeing posts on buzzfeed about people and their ridiculous "emo phase" because in my opinion it was the best phase, and I hope it comes back. There is nothing cooler than wearing black skinny jeans, converse, a slipknot tee and a korn hoodie whilst slouching through pigeon park listening to disturbed so loudly that you don't notice the disapproving looks from business people, trying to get to snow hill after work, whilst you and your friends attempt to light a bin on fire, all whilst eating a mcdonalds happy meal. Anyway, enough reminiscing over my 13 year old self...

One of the brands which I discovered was Yummy Gummy Latex, a small independent brand which create clothes, accessories and teddies out of sheet latex which they design themselves! They asked me to try on their Pink Glitter latex dress which I am wearing here!!! Its so pretty and very flattering, I felt like a pink glitter latex Marilyn Monroe and I thought it would be a shame not to post it here. I had a look at their website and you can choose whichever colours you so desire for your latex creation, theres so many options. I just love the concept of the brand, and make sure you check out Lady Allura's gallery as her designs are insane and she was the lovely girl I spoke to yesterday!!
