The other day I was approached by Nike to collaborate on a post about their new Cherry Blossom range because it is so quintessentially me! Obviously, I gushed with excitement because they were right, the range is everything I have ever dreamed of from a pair of trainers, and I can’t quite decide which are my favourite! I love cherry blossoms because 1. they’re really beautiful and 2. they remind me of one of my favourite things, anime.
There are five pairs of trainers in the range, the Air Max 1 and Cortez being the leading styles, I have to say they are also two of my favourites, I love the vintage feel of the Cortez, it’s not a style I’ve seen around often (I’m can’t say I’m particularly good when it comes to knowing my sports footwear, normally sticking to Air Max because I know I feel comfortable in them) but I know the Cortez are one of Nikes classic styles having been around since the 70’s! I think that vintage-y sportswear vibe is very strong at the moment so these are bang on trend!
Obviously, I also love the Air Max 1’s, simply as I’m a fan of Air Max, having had multiple pairs in my wardrobe over the past few years. I find them very comfy and they go with pretty much all of my clothes, I also really love the print on these particular Cherry Blossom Air Max as the colours are very prominent, it’s almost as if my instagram got put on a shoe, I approve.
The other styles in the range are the Blazers, Thea and Air Rift! Unfortunately, they’re not yet live on the website but I will definitely let you guys know when they are by alerting you on my social channels! I really like the Blazers, they’re the type of shoe I would find myself putting on whenever I’m rushing out of the house in jeans and a tshirt (as styled above), they’re super easy to wear and I love the colours on these particular ones, they feel super spring/summer! I’m not sure when they’ll be on the website, but I’m hoping soon!
